We grow a large variety of perennial and annual flowers, greenery, and woody stems to have blooms from April through October. 

At Iowa Blooms, you'll find tulips, ranunculus, peony, lisianthus, dahlia, sunflowers, zinnia, celosia, snapdragons, amaranth, coneflower, rudbeckia, foxglove, scabiosa, daisies, columbine, nigella, Queen Anne's lace, bachelor's button, and many more!

Absolutely! We'd love to share the joy and beauty of Iowa Blooms for your event! Contact us to reserve a time to pick your own flowers, or we can provide a bucket of blooms. Available flowers and color palettes will vary depending on the season and what's in bloom.

The flowers in your Iowa Blooms bouquet are picked fresh and conditioned to extend vase life. Here's what you can do at home.

Start with a clean vase and cool fresh water.
Trim the bottom of the stems 1/2 inch at an angle before placing in water.

Remove all foliage under the water line.
Change water every 2-3 days.
Keep flowers out of direct sun and away from heat.
Remove fading blooms promptly.

Yes, you can schedule a delivery for a future date during the checkout process.

We use sustainable practices and focus on prevention first—healthy soil, crop rotation, encouraging beneficial insects that naturally control pests, and covering particularly tasty blooms with organza bags. When intervention is needed, we choose targeted, farm-appropriate products and apply them carefully and responsibly. Our goal is always to protect pollinators, the environment, and you. If you visit our farm, you'll find that our butterflies and bees appreciate this approach!
